RWAs & housing societies
Know Your Tenant for your entire community
RentEase gives housing associations and RWAs a web dashboard to track every unit, onboard owners, and run Know Your Tenant (KYT) verification — the same Aadhaar and PAN checks landlords use, with consent recorded in-app per DPDP Act 2023.
What your association gets
A dedicated web dashboard — OTP sign-in for admins, enrollment for your society, and tools aligned with how RentEase runs KYT for landlords and tenants in the mobile app.
Unit registry & KYT visibility
See all flats or units in one place with invite status and per-tenant KYC progress so the managing committee always knows who is verified.
Owner onboarding & bulk upload
Invite owners by unit and upload owner lists in bulk — faster setup for large societies than spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads.
Transparent KYT rules with your association
Agree with RentEase how KYT runs for your society: each verification is ₹100, and either the landlord or the tenant pays — per your rules and how verification is started in the app. Residents know what applies before they start KYT.
Reminders
Send KYC reminders to owners and tenants so verification does not stall at the gate.
Reports
KYT progress and billing views so the committee can reconcile verification activity and charges.
Association settings
Configure KYT fees, waivers, and coverage for residents with clear visibility for the committee.
KYT is the same trusted flow
Tenants complete Know Your Tenant verification in the RentEase app. Aadhaar eKYC and PAN checks are processed via Cashfree Identity; consent is captured in the app. Each verification is ₹100; either the landlord or the tenant pays, according to your association's agreement with RentEase and how KYT is started in the app — the same pricing as on our landlord and pricing pages.
Privacy for residents, owners, and committees
We treat every data principal seriously: tenants, landlords, unit owners in your registry, and authorised administrators. The association dashboard shows operational status (for example KYC completion per unit) — not raw Aadhaar or identity documents. Who pays for each KYT (landlord or tenant) does not expand access to sensitive identity payloads beyond what our Privacy Policy allows on RentEase. We do not sell personal data for advertising.
